4 Signs Your Shower Needs to Be Replaced

Once cracks become too large (or chipping starts to cover a large area), it's an indication that your shower might be on its last legs and will start to leak soon (if it isn't already).

Speaking of leaks, this is another big sign that your shower needs to be replaced (potentially). If you notice pooling around the base of your shower or other puddles (inside or outside of the shower) that don't seem to dry, it may be due to a problem in your shower basin. These are not easily repaired and are best solved with a shower replacement.

3. Stains and Discoloration

Stains in your shower aren't necessarily a functional problem, but they can look unsightly. If your shower is discolored in some way, it can be annoying or embarrassing, especially if the bathroom is accessible to guests.
